Our Founder:
Sara Sasse' is a licensed Esthetician in both the United States and Canada. She conceptualized and pioneered the first line of indoor tanning accelerators in the U.S., collaborating with a cosmetic chemist in product formulation. Sara has owned and operated Spa Sasse', a large successful salon & spa in Portland, Oregon since 1983.
Spa Sasse' offers a multitude of services where people are pampered and catered to, re-emerging feeling beautiful and renewed. It is referred to as "An Oasis of Calm in the Heart of the City."
How it all started:
In the quest for massage, bath and body products, there were none available that were both beautiful and nutrient-rich enough to offer the spa clientele. Being an artistic, creative entrepreneur with a background in product development, skincare and beauty, Sara decided to create beautiful, nutrient-rich bath and body products herself. One day, while experimenting in her kitchen, she realized that her new product line could look like pastries. She first created the gorgeous massage bars, cheesecakes and bath cookies that you see on this website, and DISH was born.

To enhance the lives of others by producing fun, high quality, environmentally responsible beauty products and employing socially responsible business practices that empower others. We believe that beauty should be fun and as natural as possible. With DISH, you get it all - beautiful, fun AND fabulous! Sara has a quote: "When in doubt, choose it all" and that is just what she did with the DISH line!

We are ecologically responsible when choosing quality materials. Our shea butter, for example, comes from a co-op that uses their profits to help people in third world countries. The darling pink blenders in the DISH boutiques benefit breast cancer research.
